Gothenberg is the second largest city in Sweden and worth a a couple days to explore. There aren’t a lot of iconic skylines or neighborhoods, so just wander and enjoy the varied landscapes, parks and pockets of architecture. It’s a sprawling city so a bike is easier on the feet, but walking is till doable if you’re willing.
Lodging is expensive! Even the lower end hotels can set you back hundreds of dollars. While we were there, several soccer tournaments were in progress (Gothia Cup and Women’s EuroCup) so finding lodging was difficult and expensive!
