We landed in Bergen without any place to stay. Our previous attempts to book online fell through at the last minute and we were left with nothing. It’s not typcially what we like to do, but we were told the Tourist Information center could help us find place. So our first mission was to find the TI.
We made our way to the main harbor via bus and easily found the TI building near the fish market. They were able to give us a few options for rooms: a private apartment within the city center without internet or a private room in a hostel with a 10 minute bus ride. Hmm. Well, we can’t live without internet, so we chose the hostel up the mountain in an aptly named neighborhood called Montana.
